How much does it cost to hire a car in Harare?+
City hatchbacks such as the Vitz, Fit and Demio start at $50 a day. Comfort sedans sit around $70–75, terrain 4x4s $110–120, and Signature cars from $150. Weekly and monthly rates are discounted automatically.
What do I need to rent a car in Zimbabwe?+
A valid driver's licence (Zimbabwean, SADC or an international driving permit), a national ID or passport, and a contact number. No credit card required.
Can I hire for a month or longer?+
Yes. Monthly and long-term hire is available for businesses, NGOs, contractors and e-hailing drivers, quoted as a flat monthly rate with servicing included.
Do you deliver the car?+
Anywhere in Harare — CBD, Avondale, Borrowdale, Mount Pleasant, Highlands and Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. Bulawayo and Victoria Falls by arrangement.
Is insurance included?+
Basic insurance is included on every hire. Comprehensive cover is $5 a day extra. An excess applies in case of damage.
